ImageTagMirrorSet for Red Hat Edge Manager images
ImageTagMirrorSet (ITMS) redirects container image pulls on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform from upstream registries to your internal mirror so disconnected clusters can run Red Hat Edge Manager without changing application manifests.
ITMS is a cluster-level resource that tells CRI-O to redirect image pulls from a source registry prefix to your internal mirror. When a pod requests an image from a registry prefix listed in your ITMS (for example <source-registry>/<path>/<image>:<version>), CRI-O fetches the image from your mirror instead. You do not change pod specs, Helm values, or image references in application manifests.
ITMS is the recommended approach for disconnected Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters. One configuration covers all namespaces, survives Helm upgrades without re-patching image references, and replaces the deprecated ImageContentSourcePolicy.
Applying an ITMS triggers a MachineConfig rollout. Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform drains and restarts nodes one at a time to apply the new container runtime configuration. Plan a maintenance window for production clusters.
