Troubleshoot the standalone gateway migration

Resolve common problems when you migrate clients and integrations to the standalone HTTPS gateway.

Gateway fails to start
Check sudo journalctl -u flightctl-gateway.service -b --no-pager and confirm that /etc/flightctl/pki/flightctl-gateway/server.crt and server.key exist when you use generateCertificates: builtin, or that you installed custom certificates when you use generateCertificates: none.
Browser or CLI TLS errors
Trust the deployment CA (/etc/flightctl/pki/ca.crt) on clients, or install organization-signed gateway certificates. See Planning DNS and TLS for the standalone gateway.
Sign-in works on port 3443 but not on port 443
Confirm global.baseDomain matches the DNS name in the browser. Review gateway logs and verify that flightctl-ui and flightctl-api units are active.
