Publish manually from Image Builder (web console)

Use this path when catalog publication was not configured at build creation time. The promotion waits automatically if the build is still in progress.

Procedure

  1. Open the image build in Image Builder and select Publish.
  2. Complete the promotion form:
    1. Confirm the source build and export formats to publish.
    2. Choose whether to create a New catalog item or add a version to an Existing catalog item.
    3. Select the target catalog (for example default) and provide the catalog item name and version.
  3. Submit the promotion and monitor it on the Image promotions tab until the status reaches Completed.
  4. Verify the new catalog item version in Software Catalog.
