Decommission devices
Decommissioning a device is the supported way to unenroll it and permanently remove it from Red Hat Edge Manager management. You cannot undo this action. Always decommission a device before you delete its device resource from the service.
After decommissioning completes, the device no longer has a management identity with the service. Deleting the device resource without decommissioning first can leave the agent in an inconsistent state relative to your operational expectations.
