OpenShift cluster notifications

OpenShift cluster notifications alert you to cluster events by default email notification, with optional integration for third-party services such as Slack, Google Chat, and Microsoft Teams.

Note

All options are not available for all services. You cannot disable OpenShift notifications on this page because your cluster is managed by Red Hat. These notifications are the primary way that Red Hat Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) will contact you about cluster problems and request actions you must take to resolve them.

Cluster owners cannot unsubscribe from email notifications. If you are not a cluster owner and do not want notification emails, ask your cluster owner or administrator to remove you from the notification contacts list. For instructions, see Removing notification contacts from your cluster, linked in Additional resources.

In addition to email notifications, you can configure cluster event notifications through third-party products such as Slack, Google Chat, and Microsoft Teams. This requires Organization Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or Notifications Administrator permissions in Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console.

For more information about OpenShift Cluster Manager notifications integrations, see Integrating the Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Console with third-party applications, linked in Additional resources.
