Workflow management (2026.8.1788958058)

  • Workflow import with unavailable LLM models: Importing a workflow no longer fails when the target instance does not have the same LLM provider configuration. The import clears the unavailable model reference and creates a draft workflow with warnings, so you can reconfigure the LLM provider after import.
  • File deletion support: You can now delete uploaded context files through the Files API. File metadata responses also include an is_project_deleted flag to identify files whose parent project has been deleted.

Service accounts and credentials (2026.8.1788958058)

  • Credential maximum lifetime as a runtime setting: The maximum lifetime for service-account credentials is now controlled through the service_accounts.credential_max_lifetime_days runtime setting. Administrators can change this value through the Settings page or API without restarting automation orchestrator.
  • Credential workflow-association timestamps: Credential workflow-association API responses now include a created_at timestamp, so you can see when each credential-workflow relationship was established.

Approvals (2026.8.1788958058)

  • Approval prompt and loop iteration context in API responses: Approval API responses now include the configured approval prompt and the loop iteration path. API clients can display the prompt the workflow author wrote and distinguish repeated approval requests inside loops.

API integration (2026.8.1788958058)

  • Ansible Automation Platform job template and workflow template steps no longer fail when the integration is correctly configured:: Previously, adding or running an Ansible job template or workflow template step could fail with the message “Ansible Automation Platform Controller integration is not configured. Contact your administrator.” Ansible Automation Platform steps now automatically use the configured integration when exactly one Ansible Automation Platform integration is enabled.

Access management (2026.8.1789549281)

  • Project detail: Workflows tab: You can now view workflows scoped to a specific project from the project detail page in Access Management. The Workflows tab appears alongside the existing Details tab and displays the same table columns, filters, and row actions as the global Workflows list, filtered to the selected project. You can click any workflow to open it in the workflow builder.

Workflow builder (2026.8.1789549281)

  • Loop nodes move as a group on the canvas: Dragging a loop node in the workflow builder now moves all nodes inside the loop body together, preserving the loop’s spatial layout. Previously, dragging the loop node moved only the loop header, and you had to reposition each body node individually. Dragging an individual node inside a loop still moves only that node.

Workflow management (2026.8.1789722392)

  • Workflow state column help popover: The workflows list State column now includes a help popover that explains the meaning of each workflow state: draft, published, and unpublished changes. You can click the help icon in the column header to view descriptions of each state without leaving the page.

Workflow management (2026.8.1790283325)

  • Workflow run confirmation modal: The workflow run confirmation modal now displays the workflow name in the modal body instead of the title, keeping the title as a clean action label. The modal body begins with “You are about to manually run the workflow [workflow name]” followed by the existing content. This aligns with the established modal pattern used across automation orchestrator.

User management (2026.8.1790283325)

  • Unique email help text on Create User form: The Create User form now includes a help popover on the email field that explains the unique email constraint. Each user must have a unique email address, and the popover clarifies this requirement before you submit the form.

Workflow management (2026.8.1790936140)

  • Clearer conditional node labels: The conditional node configuration panel now uses clearer labels. The field previously labeled “Conditional expression” is now labeled “Condition type,” and the dropdown options have been updated to “Form builder” and “Freeform text” for improved clarity.

Workflow management (2026.8.1791513611)

  • Clearer conditional node labels: The conditional node configuration panel now uses clearer labels. The field previously labeled “Conditional expression” is now labeled “Condition type,” and the dropdown options have been updated to “Form builder” and “Freeform text” for improved clarity.

User interface (2026.8.1791513611)

  • Improved table column widths: List tables now use fixed column widths for predictable columns such as dates, status, and actions, giving resource names and other dynamic content more room to display without excessive truncation. This improvement applies to the Workflows, Workflow Runs, and Integrations tables, with additional tables to follow.
