Technology previews
Technology Preview features in Red Hat OpenShift Dev Spaces provide early access to experiment with new capabilities, provide feedback, and prepare your teams. Evaluate how new features fit into your development platform strategy and plan implementations ahead of general availability.
Technology Preview features are not supported with Red Hat production service level agreements (SLAs), might not be functionally complete, and Red Hat does not recommend to use them for production. These features provide early access to upcoming product features, enabling customers to test functionality and provide feedback during the development process.

Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer introduces sigstore-a2a for Agent Card signing and verification Copy linkLink copied!
Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer (RHTAS) includes rh-sigstore-a2a, a Python library and CLI for keyless signing and verification of Agent-to-Agent (A2A) Agent Cards. Cryptographic signing ensures that the digital identity documents served at runtime match what was built and tested in CI/CD pipelines.
Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer introduces AI-powered CI/CD integration assessment skills Copy linkLink copied!
With this update, Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer (RHTAS) introduces two Claude Code plugin skills (scan-jenkins and scan-gitlab) for automated RHTAS integration assessment. Organizations adopting RHTAS can now assess their existing CI/CD environments for integration readiness and generate implementation blueprints.
The skills connect read-only to Jenkins or GitLab CI APIs, evaluate 25 gap detection rules across infrastructure, OIDC, signing, verification, policy, and supply chain categories, and generate implementation blueprints with platform-specific pipeline snippets (Jenkinsfile or .gitlab-ci.yml). Blueprints include confidence scoring, TAS endpoint validation commands, and step-by-step integration guidance. The skills work against RHTAS deployed in OpenShift environments and are distributed through the Red Hat Ecosystem Catalog.
Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer supports PKCS#11 and HSM signing for Fulcio and CTLog Copy linkLink copied!
With this update, Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer supports configuring the Fulcio certificate authority (CA) and Certificate Transparency Log (CTLog) signers to use PKCS#11 with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Private signing keys can now reside directly on tamper-resistant hardware to satisfy FIPS 140-2 and FIPS 140-3 compliance requirements. Administrators can deploy the Trusted Artifact Signer stack in PKCS#11 mode by setting the signer.type: pkcs11 parameter on Fulcio and CTLog. Private keys never leave the HSM. Integration is vendor-agnostic through the operator API, requiring users to supply device-specific configurations, such as init containers, volumes, and credentials.
